International Photography Awards Announces Winners of the 2017 Competition.
“This year, The International Photography Awards received 14273 of submissions from over 165 countries, and is pleased to declare that Riccardo Magherini was awarded Honorable Mention in Fine Art  for the winning entry Tha Klang.

The entries were considered and voted on by our illustrious international jury panel, who had a difficult task with so many outstanding entries this year. Those which received the highest votes were selected for the top prizes in their respective categories.The 2017 International Photography Awards received nearly 15,000 submissions from 103 countries across the globe. IPA is a sister-effort of the Lucie Foundation, where the top three winners are announced at the annual Lucie Awards gala ceremony. The Foundation’s mission is to honor master photographers, to discover new and emerging talent and to promote the appreciation of photography. Since 2003, IPA has had the privilege and opportunity to acknowledge and recognize contemporary photographers’ accomplishments in this specialized and highly visible competition.”  www.photoawards.com
